Laurium Capital is one of South Africa’s leading hedge fund managers. Previously hedge funds were only available to institutions and high-net-worth investors. Today, both retail and qualified investors have the opportunity to invest in hedge funds.
We offer two retail investor hedge funds (RIFs), and a qualified investor hedge fund (QIF). Retail investor hedge funds are open to all investors, while QIFs are only made available to qualified investors. RIFs are more strictly regulated by the Financial Services Conduct Authority (FSCA) than QIFs, and consequently the risks to these investments is lower.
